E! News has confirmed that the longtime couple kept us guessing for years, but said arrivederci to singledom today by tying the knot in front of relatives and close friends at the Borgo Egnazia resort in the southern Spanish city of Fasano.
"It's great to be married, the ceremony was beautiful and it was so special to be surrounded by our relatives and friends," the newlyweds said in a statement to People.
10 months after getting engaged in a luxury mountain resort in Jackson Hole, Wyo., Timberlake, 31, and Biel, 30, are set to marry in southern France this week. The reports are trickling in: Us Every week quotes sources that say the ultra-private celebrations have already kicked off, on Tuesday, Oct. 16, in preparation for an "intimate, rustic ceremony" that will be attended by relatives and friends. Meanwhile, Life & Style is saying much the same: "The wedding was top-secret, hush-hush," a source told the publication. "Guests were warned that any rings or cameras would be confiscated, so best to leave them at the hotel."
The pair have dated on and off since 2007. "[Biel] is single-handedly the most important person my life," Timberlake told Vanity Fair in June 2011. "In my 30 years, he is the most special person, ok? I don't need to say much more, because I must protect things that are dear to me -- for example, her."
